DR. DENISE JACKSON D. MIN

Executive Director/Founder

Dr. Denise Jackson graduated from Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Medical Technology, and is a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. She received her Doctorate of Ministry from Emmanuel Theological Seminary. She is a certified Life Coach, that uses her experiences to uplift and help women learn how maneuver through our colorist community and empower others. Due to the impact that the affects of Colorism has had on her life, she is an advocate for the community in addressing Colorism, and empowering individuals dealing with the results of Colorism.

LORETTA MORRIS

President

Loretta Morris joined D.A.W.N. with the vision and drive to improve upon our Women’s Empowerment Non-Profit Organization, and is focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity.

GLORIA DANIELS

Secretary

Gloria D Daniels, B.Sc. is the Administrative Assistant in Bookkeeping and Records for D.A.W.N.  She enjoys the ongoing opportunity to serve in the fore-mentioned office attending to, but not limited to, all listed duties.  It is her goal to uphold the mission and carry the vision as set forth by the board of directors, in a manner that is consistently exemplary and appropriate.  She considers her calling to mentorship/exhortation/logistics to be innate, present and flowing in every applicable situation. Her life motto is to allow her gifts to be conduits making services not only possible, but relevant and effective. In all things she strives for excellence and takes pride and employs diligence in every opportunity to serve.

REUBEN JACKSON III

Treasurer

With us since our founding, Reuben Jackson III, has been inducted to the National Society of Leadership and Success by the University of Phoenix.  He has his B.S. in Business Accounting. With his MBA Reuben is an asset to ensuring the success of D.A.W.N.

VANZORA JACKSON

Consultant

With us since our founding, Vanzora Jackson is one of our veteran team members. Vanzora has a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and a Masters of Divinity. She brings her years of experience and skills to the forefront in helping our organization grow and succeed.

DR. LARRY POWELL D. MIN

Spiritual Advisor

“The Senior Pastor of the Trap”
Larry Powell graduated from Emmanuel Bible College with a Doctorate of Ministry. He's a former drug dealer who had a life-changing encounter with God while in prison nearly 11 years ago. Larry is an advocate for nonviolent drug offenders serving lengthy sentences for possession charges.
